Youth Skills program uses a fun and interactive approach to introduce and continue learning the sport of Field Hockey. Players learn the fundamental skills of the game which include proper form, ball & stick control, tackling, receiving/trapping, and passing. Offensive and defensive concepts are also covered through age-appropriate games and competitions. Designed for beginners or only two years of experience.

Sessions will be run in the indoor turf bubble.

Proper equipment required: stick, shin guards and mouth guard.

Dates: Wednesdays

Session 1: 12/9, 12/16, 12/23, 12/30, 1/6 (1/13 make up if needed)

Session 2: 1/20, 1/27, 2/3, 2/10, 2/17 (2/24 make up if needed)

Ages: Grades 5-8th

Time: 5:00pm-6:00pm

Cost: $150/session or save $25 by registering for both Session 1 & 2
